I started in Lighting in 1982 working for AJS Lighting,a theatre lighting hire company on the South Coast of England. However my interests were not in the theatre but in music and after leaving the company in 1984 I was employed by Entec Sound and Light where I learnt the basics of lighting and touring. After the first year with Entec I became the in-house designer for the Marquee Club in Wardour street, which gave me the grounding and the confidence to start designing my own shows.

After six years at Neg Earth Lights, working as Crew Chief, moving light technician, moving light operator and Programmer on many large scale events, concerts, tours and festival productions, it was time I returned mainly to design. With the knowledge gained from working on such productions and having had the use of some of the best and most sophisticated equipment available I was ready to bring it all together and put it to good use.
