I started in Lighting in 1983 working for a theatre lighting hire company on the South Coast of England. However my interests were not in the theatre but in music and after leaving the company in 1984 I was employed by Entec Sound and Light where I learnt the basics of lighting and touring. After the first year with Entec I became the in-house designer for the Marquee Club which gave me the confidence to start designing my own shows

Sadly in 1992 Chameleon Lighting came to an end and everyone went their own way. It was at this point that the first intelligent light sytems were being introduced and I started working with Neg Earth Lights learning the ins and outs of DMX desks and lights, by crewing and programming for other designers, whilst still designing some shows and tours of my own.

After six years at Neg Earth Lights, working as Crew Chief, moving light technician, moving light operator and Programmer on many large scale events, concerts, tours and festival productions, it was time I returned mainly to design.
